It's winter in Connecticut. And that means snow and ice and slush - and that's the way it's supposed to be. So enjoy it, right? Embrace it. Go skiing, or sledding; take a walk in the woods or by the water. It's winter.
If you look out the window and long for warm and sunny weather, then winter just seems cold and eternal. We had two feet of snow a week ago, and that was a lot of fun - hiking, playing in the snow, shoveling (or more accurately watching the kids shovel). We have snow and ice and rain this morning, and I'm looking out the window longing for warm and sunny weather.
A little time on the beach in Hawaii might be nice about now. Don't think less of me, I'll go find a pair of snowshoes. Just give me a minute.
